The Story Retreat features teaching, sharing, group work, discussion, and writing on the following topics: the universal story structure, character creations, tension building, setting development, dialog design, editing skills, and more​. Through idea exploration, game playing, and pairs exercises we'll work on your most important storytelling muscles together--and have incredible fun doing it.

For this retreat, we're absolutely thrilled to be working with The Wide Living Academy, one of the top wellness and yoga retreat centers in all of northern Thailand. In addition to the teaching and ample free time for your own creative writing you can experience all that the academy has to offer, from yoga to cooking classes. It's entirely up to you. The cost is $1600 per person and the rooms are shared (two to a room).
