The Story Retreat features teaching, sharing, group work, discussion, and writing on the following topics: the universal story structure, character creations, tension building, setting development, dialog design, editing skills, and more​. Through idea exploration, game playing, and pairs exercises we'll work on your most important storytelling muscles together--and have incredible fun doing it.

For this retreat, we're absolutely thrilled to be working with The Twin Lotus Spa and Resort, one of the top wellness and yoga retreat centers in Krabi, the southeast most province of the incredible country of Thailand. In addition to the teaching and ample free time for your own creative writing you can experience all that the resort has to offer. It's entirely up to you. The cost is $1195 per person and the rooms are shared (two to a room). The rooms are booked with an extra day before the retreat starts and one extra day after the retreat ends. There's a welcome reception on Sunday the 23rd at 7pm.
